Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to play golf with two friends of mine, Sebastian and Alex. We played at a course nearby, named Pine Hollow. I had never played golf without my parents, and although I was nervous, we all had a wonderful time. In my opinion, playing golf is much more enjoyable when you include friends and people who will lift you up. Not only that, but doing the same kindness for them will help their game be more entertaining as well.
To begin, we all arrived at the golf course around 9:30 am. Before we went on the course, we decided to warm up at the driving range. Afterwards, I asked Johnny, the pro at Pine Hollow, if he could find a spot on the golf course for us. Sure enough, he found us an open slot on hole 15. We played the rest of the back nine, and then stopped for lunch at the pro shop. Luckily, when we finished our meal the person at the front desk said we could play the front nine, because there were no reservations. We all gladly accepted and hopped back on the course.
Next, we played the front nine with one other person named Victor. We were all having so much fun playing and talking that the time flew by. To add, I made two back to back birdies and parred the hole after that. It’s easy to say this round of golf will be difficult to forget. After we finished the front nine, Alex left since it was getting late. Meanwhile, Sebastian and I played the rest of the course.
In conclusion, golf is one of my favorite sports. I enjoy playing it and sharing my passion for golf with others makes the game ten times better. All and all, I’m definitely going to play golf with friends more often, and blog about it.
